Celebrating 5 Years and 15,000 Pairs of Shoes!
For the fifth consecutive year the Cleveland Browns have been the Shoes and Clothes for Kids Back to School Campaign sponsor. The Back to School Campaign was established in 2003 to raise awareness and visibility of the critical need during back to school time for new clothing, shoes and school supplies for thousands of children in the Greater Cleveland area. Back to school time is the busiest time of year for SC4K.
The Cleveland Browns Back to School Campaign sponsorship of $15,000 has helped to purchase of 15,000 shoe gift cards over the last 5 years that were distributed to income-eligible families in Greater Cleveland through Shoes and Clothes for Kids’ Back to School distribution in August. The shoe gift cards help children purchase new athletic shoes as part of the Browns focus to keep kids healthy and active.
