We’re excited that you want to know more about our young professional committees. SC4K is committed to providing meaningful volunteer experiences for all of our volunteers and we are especially aware of the particular needs of younger volunteers who are busy furthering their education, developing their careers or starting a family. Our project teams provide a simple way to actively participate in the work of SC4K. Led by volunteers from our Associate Board with input from the SC4K staff, SC4K welcomes your participation on any of the following teams:
This project team brainstorm ideas, locations and other logistics and then help coordinates happy hours for SC4K. Team Members should have an interest in event planning, networking and public relations.

Sporting Events
The purpose of this project team is to identify opportunities for AB Members to participate in group sporting activities. This project team is responsible for brainstorming ideas, reaching out to athletic organizations with the goal of coordinating a future event or team. Team Members should be interested in physical activity, networking with other organizations and event planning.

Resource Network
Responsible for maintaining the resource network, familiarizing project leaders with how to use it, and working to populate and nurture our volunteer resources. Project team members should be interested in social media, project management, volunteer recruitment and volunteer development/maintenance.

Sock & Underwear Drive
Responsible for organizing campaigns to collect brand new socks and underwear for children. Businesses, schools, civic organizations, professional or religious groups can conduct campaigns within their organizations to collect underwear, socks and/or monetary donations. This project team works with other Associate Board teams to see if there are any opportunities to tie in. Team members should be interested in project management, event planning, and networking with other companies/organizations.

Luau on the Lake
Plan, produce and promote the Associate Board’s largest event and fundraiser. Team Members recruit friends/family/associates to the Luau on the Lake Host Committee, help sell tickets to the event, solicit raffle prizes & sponsorships, recruit volunteers to help out with the event and market the event. Project team members should be interested in sponsorship solicitation, event planning and volunteer recruitment.
